Campaign Story

Dhruva is a youth with multiple disabilities. He is an orphan child, and he was brought to Manovikas Samarth Centre, (Respite Care Home) when he was just 8. Because of physical disability, he was unable to move freely & properly and had to depend on others to perform his daily activities. But with continuous physiotherapy, his condition is improving. He has improved physical movements & is getting independent in basic needs. He is also developing some functional literacy skills. He is successfully learning computer skills and capable of doing some productive work. He has improved his social skills and participating in extracurricular activities, especially signing.

Madhya Pradesh Viklang Sahayta Samiti provides therapeutic intervention to the poor children with disabilities. Therapeutic interventions include physiotherapy, speech therapy and occupational therapy as per an individual rehabilitation plan (IRP). Therapy is provided by a team of well-qualified and experienced therapists. All therapeutic units have modern equipment and facilities to provide qualitative services.
