About the organization
MPVSS, started in 1997, is an NGO working towards provision of education, therapeutic welfare, vocational training and other necessary services to persons with disabilities for the last 25 years in the districts of Ujjain, Shajapur, Rajgarh and Agar in the state of Madhya Pradesh.

- To create an inclusive society in which persons with disabilities will enjoy equal rights, opportunities and participation.
- To create a conducive atmosphere for their holistic development and mainstreaming them with the society
- The Samiti has been providing different types of services to several hundreds of children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities and also other disabilities through its various programs. At the same time Samiti has been making continuous efforts to sensitize the society towards persons with disabilities which is showing positive results now in the areas where it is working
- To bring about attitudinal changes in the persons with disability, in the family members and the society at large
- To build the capacity of the persons with disabilities for enhancing their competence and making them self reliant
- To Promote and facilitate the rehabilitation of Persons with Disability
- To prevent disabilities and minimize the consequences of disabilities through early identification and intervention
- To develop MPVSS as a national level resource agency with all facilities and recognition
- Respecting the dignity of all without discrimination
