Inspired by the words of Jesus Christ, Madhya Pradesh Vikalang Sahayata Samiti, is fully and actively involved in the service of persons with disabilities since 1997. MPVSS continues its journey with great satisfaction and feeling of fulfilment. Through its special schools, integrated centres, therapeutic centres and CWSN hostels we could improve the life of hundreds of children with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Social acceptance is a must for the rehabilitation of persons with intellectual disabilities. MPVSS could do a marvellous job in this regard through the awareness programs. There is remarkable change in the attitude of the society towards the persons with intellectual disabilities. Now they have a positive attitude towards persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Parents now understand the need and usefulness of special education and therapeutic intervention.

Manovikas College of Special Education aiming at developing learned and skilled professionals in the field of special education is a remarkable achievement. As estimated, India needs thousands of trained teachers in the field of disability. In turn with the need of National need MPVSS has started a special education college to reduce gap between the availability and need of trained special educators.

When we look back we feel proud that we could educate train and help the persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities. I would like to give a big thanks to each one of our benefactors, donors, and well-wishers, who contributed their time, skill, and resources and we could together reduce the pain of persons with disabilities and their families. It is very clear that in the present day scenario each member of the society needs to come together to address the issue of disabilities because a person or an organization alone cannot do much but we together can do wonders. We hope and need your continued support and encouragement to achieve our goal.
